Made this bread yesterday. I was very sceptical whether it would seem like bread. I do not have a food processor. So I mixed the dry ingredients by hand. And folded the first half into them. Then I folded the ingredients as per the recipe and I was very pleasantly surprised. It turned out great and I will make it again. As for the egg yolks I made scrambled eggs and had them with my new bread for breakfast.
Hi Jen, It sounds like it needed to bake for longer – this is why it sunk and was still moist. The timing varies by ovens and even different pans. I hope you’ll try it again and just keep it in there for longer. You can cover the top if it starts to brown too much. For the one you made, depending on how moist it was in the middle, you may be able to salvage it somewhat by pan frying the slices.

Egg-based wraps. These take a bit of preparation, but they are absolutely delicious with the right ingredients. My favorite egg-based wrap recipes are the Ultimate Breakfast Roll Ups and the Spinach, Herb & Feta Wrap. Both of them come packed with unique flavors and keto-friendly ingredients that make for the perfect high-protein, high-fat breakfast.

Chicken Kiev has been one of my favorite dishes since childhood, so once grown up with kids, I was encouraged to make my own. Well, because I had used cocktail sticks to keep the chicken together, they resembled a Sputnik! Then I found this recipe and my prayers were answered! Paleo Kiev has been my garlicky go-to for years and I hope you enjoy it too.
The wildly popular Crack Chicken is actually pretty simple in its ingredient list: chicken, cream cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon, scallion, and Ranch seasoning! The end result is creamy and rich, and packed with flavor. It’s proof that a recipe doesn’t have to be complicated to taste great. Crack Chicken is deliciously addictive, which is where the name comes from.
Hi Mindy, That sounds very odd. The salted butter is probably why it was too salty, but I think one of your ingredients must have gone bad, because the bread shouldn’t have a bitter or sour taste at all. Or did you use baking soda instead of baking powder? That would taste both bitter and sour, so that could be it. It needs to be baking powder, not baking soda. Hope you’ll try again!

I would like to point out that the metric conversion of 3/4 cup to 90g coconut flour as stated in your recipe is incorrect. Should be 84g per package labeling (Bob’s Red Mill). Unfortunately I made my first batch with 90g of coconut flour, and it was definitely not “pourable”. More like scoopable. I will try again with correct amount but thought I would point so you can update the recipe. Thank you!

This is the only way my kids will eat Brussels sprouts! It’s actually ideal for me because this dish is fast, easy and healthy, and it makes a lovely side. Quick-cooking Brussels sprout halves are available in the prepackaged salad aisle at the grocery store. They’re a timesaver if you can find them, but you can always just buy whole ones and slice them in half. —Teri Rasey, Cadillac, Michigan
Is Bacon bad for diabetics
There’s no need to fry the chicken in grease once it’s coated, just pop it in the oven! I much prefer oven-fried chicken for a few reasons. Fried chicken is usually such a nuisance! The grease splatters, the wasted oil, the extra calories, getting the oil to the right temp to thoroughly cook the chicken without burning the coating. I’ve done it, but the hassle-to-taste ratio doesn’t make a lot of sense to me when I can achieve the same level of crispy right in the oven.
Without being there in the kitchen with you, it’s difficult to say what the issue was; however, I can definitely help you troubleshoot…did you cook it for the full amount of time the recipe calls for, and did you cover the top with foil for the last 15 minutes? If so, there might be an issue with your oven’s calibration (you can get an inexpensive oven thermometer to check this). Another tip is to let your eggs come to room temperature first. Another factor is the altitude at which you’re baking; if you’re at high altitude, you might need to slightly adjust the oven temperature and bake time. The other thing to remember is that there will usually be a little bit of fall to most keto breads (in fact, every keto bread we’ve ever made) because keto flours lack gluten and are naturally quite dense; however, you can see in the photos, we still got a fairly good rise on this loaf. I hope these tips help!
